London coronavirus latest figures are in from Public Health England which paints a grim picture for London with the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases passing 10,000.
London coronavirus are now 10,274 people in the capital who have tested positive for Covid-19.
This comes as the deaths of another 161 people who were being treated in hospitals run by London trusts was confirmed on Friday (April 3), bringing that horrific total to 1,054.
As well as releasing the data they also break it down the number of cases there are by borough so we can see exactly how the deadly virus is spreading through our neighbourhoods.
The total number of cases across London has increased by 956 since Thursday’s update (April 2) which is almost the same as the increase from the day before (950).
There were no major changes in terms of which boroughs have been most badly hit with a general increase across the city.
Brent continues to be the epicentre in London with 601 cases.
This is followed by Southwark (566), Barnet (547), Lambeth (563) and Croydon (497).Equally there is little change among the least affected boroughs.Read More….
